Discover the Dinomania Herd: A Prehistoric Spectacle Like No Other
At Dinomania, we bring history roaring to life with an incredible herd of dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures. From towering giants to adorable baby dinos, our collection offers something for everyone, making our shows unforgettable for audiences of all ages. Let’s take a closer look at the amazing members of the Dinomania family.
The Walking Giants
The stars of the show are our life-sized walking dinosaurs, operated by skilled performers. These massive creatures look and move just like their prehistoric counterparts, creating a truly immersive experience.
• Little Al the Allosaurus: Standing nearly 4 meters tall and 7.5 meters long, Little Al is one of the largest walking dinosaur puppets in the UK. His grey, menacing presence is unforgettable.
• Ronnie the T-rex: With two versions—one 4 meters long and the other 5.5 meters—Ronnie brings the King of the Dinosaurs to life. The smaller Ronnie portrays a younger T-rex, while the larger one shows him in his prime.
• Spike the Spinosaurus: With his iconic sail and 6.5-meter length, Spike is a towering carnivore that leaves audiences in awe.
• Betsy the Triceratops: This full-size Triceratops, known for her three iconic horns, is a gentle yet impressive member of the herd.
• Margo the Amargasaurus: Margo’s red frill and beige body make her a standout sauropod. At 8 meters long, her unique double frill along her neck is a sight to behold.
• Carl the Carnotaurus: Carl’s scarred, fierce look adds drama to the show. Chris even rides him like a horse, making him an audience favorite.
• Barry the Brontosaurus: A gentle giant at 7 meters long, Barry charms everyone with his graceful presence.
The Cheeky Raptors
Dinomania wouldn’t be complete without our fast and mischievous raptors. These agile dinosaurs bring excitement to every show.
• Ava the Utahraptor: With feathers adorning her head and back, Ava showcases the beauty of a fully feathered raptor.
• Nancy the Utahraptor: Sleek and scaled, Nancy is just as cheeky and captivating as her feathery friend.
The Colourful Characters
Some of our dinosaurs bring their own flair and personality to the herd.
• Sharon the Ceratosaurus: With her vibrant red color and three distinctive horns, Sharon loves to interact with the audience, especially the dads!
• Freddie the Therizinosaurus: Known as the “pride dinosaur” thanks to his colorful appearance, Freddie’s massive claws make him a unique herbivorous theropod.
The Adorable Babies
Our baby dinosaurs steal the show with their charm and interactive nature. These handheld and smaller puppets let kids get up close to the prehistoric action.
• Baby Ronnie the T-rex: A mini version of Ronnie, perfect for showing kids what a young T-rex looked like.
• Trixie the Triceratops: Vibrant pink and utterly adorable, Trixie is a favorite at every event.
• Bertie the Therizinosaurus: A baby version of Freddie, Bertie is equally colorful and lovable.
• Reggie, Mango, and Trudy (the Raptors): These baby raptors each have their own cheeky personalities, bringing endless fun.
• Howard the Deinonychus: Fully feathered and full of charm, baby Howard (affectionately called Howie) is inspired by the pop culture icon Howard the Duck.
• Polly the Satakosaurus: With her lime-green color, quills, and cheek spikes, Polly is a vibrant little dinosaur with a big personality.
• Ziggy the Stygimoloch: Known for playfully headbutting kids, Ziggy is always a hit with families.
• Archie the Ankylosaurus: Perched on Chris’s shoulders, Archie wows audiences with his swinging tail and adorable movements.
The Prehistoric Pets
Not all prehistoric creatures were dinosaurs, and our collection includes some fascinating species from the prehistoric world.
• Sally the Smilodon: This saber-toothed feline, resembling a tiger cub with long canines, is as cuddly as she is historic.
• Terry the Pteranodon: With his toothless beak and winged form, Terry represents the fascinating flying reptiles of the Mesozoic era.
